Trophy Policy

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

NASA RACERS PLEASE READ!!

As we become larger as an organization, it becomes more and more necessary for us to become more efficient so that we can meet and exceed the demands of you, our membership. It is in this regard that we must implement a new policy regarding trophies and awards.

It is our desire and intent that every racer that has a finishing position of 1 st, 2 nd or 3 rd in any NASA-Sanctioned trophy race receives a trophy. As always, the trophies will be awarded at the racetrack during the Saturday night party. However, per the new policy any driver that is eligible to receive a trophy, must be present at the party, or make arrangements for a representative to be present at the party, in order to receive his award. If this is not possible, leftover trophies will be available on Sunday at an announced time and place. You must see the Awards Liaison, Chuck Reyes and make arrangements to take possession. If you fail to make arrangements to receive your trophy at the track, before the end of the event, you must contact Chuck within 5 days by email at: trophies@nasaracing.net to let him know that you wish to have your trophy mailed to you. You must then send a check or money-order in the amount of $10.00, postmarked within 10 days of the event, to cover shipping and handling. Once the check is received, your award will be mailed to you immediately.

If the above stated guidelines are not met, it is understood that the racer forfeits his right to the award. This policy is in regards to trophies only and will in no way effect points-standings. If extenuating circumstances exist, they will be taken into consideration but are not guaranteed to override this policy.
